The permanent collection and the temporary exhibition by Svenja Deininger that is currently on view, can be visited by ten people at a time. Only visitors wearing face masks will be admitted. Visits to the permanent collection will continue to be accompanied by a staff member and must be booked in advance, on their website or over the phone.
Visiting hours for the permanent collection will be 3 pm on Thursdays and Fridays; 10:30 am and 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission to the temporary exhibition is free of charge during the opening hours of the collection, with the same social distancing restrictions in effect: 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, 10:30 am – 6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Upcoming projects at Collezione Maramotti
Collezione Maramotti collaborates with Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto and La Toscanini, to develop an overly exciting choreographic and musical video, The Other Side, that will be shown on the RAI 5 channel on Thursday, 25 June 2020. Luisa Rabbia’s Love, displayed in the permanent collection of Collezione Maramotti, will be featured in this new production.
Two Thoughts by Svenja Deininger will be open to visitors until 6 December 2020. These new paintings by Deininger, conceived specifically for Collezione Maramotti, are shown in dialogue with four paintings from the 1920s by avant-garde Polish artist W?adys?aw Strzemi?ski, on loan from Muzeum Sztuki in ?ód?.
The exhibition Mollino / Insides, with paintings by Enoc Perez and photographs by Brigitte Schindler and Carlo Mollino, has been rescheduled for the autumn and will be on view starting Sunday, 4 October 2020.
